Pilot Renter's Insurance

Beginning January 1, 2026, all student and pilot renters are required by Kalamazoo Flight Instruction to hold Aircraft Renter's Insurance.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Minimum coverage limit of $250,000 per occurrence

  • Policy must have "Loss of Aircraft Use" Insurance

While students and renters are welcome to use any insurance company they desire, we recommend using Dan Peacock. Dan is a pilot and instructor who brokers all insurance for Kalamazoo Flight Instruction. He is very knowledgeable and can help you receive the exact policy you need.
